Bill Ayers Toying With Authorship of Obama Memoir Again

Investors Business Daily wrote on Tuesday that President Barack Obama's long time friend Bill Ayers, a former member of the violent organization the Weather Underground, finally confessed that he wrote Obama's biography, Dreams From My Father. :

Obama has always claimed authorship of his bestselling "Dreams From My Father."

But Ayers is telling a different story. In promoting his new book, "Public Enemy," Ayers' publisher, Beacon Press, has written a blurb on Amazon.com that says Ayers "finally 'confesses' that he did write 'Dreams From My Father.'"

The boast appears in other promotions for the book as well. For instance, a Baltimore bookstore — Red Emma's — last week posted a similar claim that Ayers penned Obama's memoir as part of an announcement for a book-signing event at the leftist coffeehouse.

The reprehensible former terrorist twice before laid claim to Obama's book — once during a post-election interview and again during a speech two years ago.

In October 2009, Ayers told an interviewer at Reagan National Airport in Washington that he wrote "Dreams From My Father." Asked if he meant he "heavily edited" the book for his friend, Ayers insisted, "I wrote it."

WASHINGTON TIMES: I’m just curious whether or not your publisher has sent a copy to President Obama.

AYERS: Have you gotten any feedback on your writings from the president? (Laughter)

WASHINGTON TIMES: Considering you may have had a collaboration with “Dreams of (sic) My Father.”

AYERS: I never had a collaboration. No.

WASHINGTON TIMES: No?

AYERS: That’s a myth.

IBD points out that when Ayers said he wrote 'Dreams' during 2011 remarks at Montclair University in New Jersey, President Obama's press shop wrote off the comments as sarcasm.

In 1974, Ayers released a book titled Prairie Fire. He dedicated the book to, among many others, Sirhan Sirhan--Robert F. Kennedy's assassin. When asked by this reporter in 2008, while writing at Newsbusters.org, if he regretted this dedication, Ayers replied:

Absolutely, but that wasn’t a dedication--show me. You heard it somewhere. The dedication in Prairie Fire in 1974--It was a manifesto was to all prisoners, and if I were writing a book like that today, I would dedicate it to 2.1 million people in prison.

I think it was a stupid thing to single him out, but I also think that we have created a monster in the prison system. We ought to abolish the prison system. That’s what I believe.

HE CALLED YOU A TEA-BAGGER: Obama Refers to Tea Party as ‘Tea-Baggers’

Responding to an angry constituent’s letter about the Affordable Care Act, President Barack Obama allegedly used a sexually charged derogatory term referring to members of the Tea Party movement.

Thomas Ritter, a fifth-grade school teacher from Irving, Texas, has sent the president a note criticizing Obamacare – the controversial law offering health care to the uninsured, which has become the butt of jokes following a disastrous launch last month.

‘This bill has caused such a divisive, derisive and toxic environment… The reality is that any citizen that disagrees with your administration is targeted and ridiculed,’ the Texas man wrote to the commander-in-chief.

The Executive Budget As A Tool Of Despotism

Budget Battles And The Growth Of The Administrative State

The following includes some excerpts from Imprimis. This article by John Marini quite accurately details how Obama and the Progressive bureaucratic regime have taken over by "Rule of the Administrative State". As Marini describes, this has been building since the days of LBJ's "Great Society" program and continued when Congress began to cede power to the Executive branch and to the Judiciary in the early '70's.

The FED and the unelected bureaucrats are the enablers of what may be the final dismantling of our Constitution.
"What we have seen in subsequent decades is the steady expansion of a modern administrative state that is distinctively American in that it coexists with a limited government Constitution."

* * *

"In America, the administrative state traces its origins to the Progressive movement. Inspired by the theories of the German political philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Progressives like Woodrow Wilson believed that the erection of the modern state marked an “end of History,” a point at which there is no longer any need for conflict over fundamental principles. Politics at this point would give way to administration, and administration becomes the domain not of partisans, but of neutral and highly trained experts...(snip)

Progressive leaders were openly hostile to the Constitution not only because it placed limits on government, but because it provided almost no role for the federal government in the area of administration. The separation of powers of government into three branches—the executive, the legislative, and the judicial—inhibited the creation of a unified will and made it impossible to establish a technical administrative apparatus to carry out that will.

Determined to overcome this separation, one of the chief reforms promoted by early Progressives was an executive budget system—a budget that would allow Progressive presidents to pursue the will of a national majority and establish a non-partisan bureaucracy to carry it out.

Congress was initially reluctant to give presidents the authority to formulate budgets, partly because it infringed on Congress’s constitutional prerogative—but also because it was still understood at the time that the separation of powers stood as a barrier to tyranny and as a protection of individual freedom. Eventually, however, Congress’s resistance weakened.

For several decades after a federal budget process was put in place, a consensus concerning the size and purposes of the federal government limited the conflict over control of public finances.

Administrative functions at the national level were few, in keeping with a system of decentralized administration, an autonomous civil society, and a constitutional system that underscored the limited character of government.

This would change in the 1970s, when Congress reorganized itself to become a major player in the administrative process that had arisen with the Great Society.

The public consensus in support of limited government and balanced
budgets began to break down. Moreover, Republican presidents representing national majorities and Democratic Congresses organized around private interests became rival forces to an extent incompatible with the pursuit of a longterm public interest.

Thus the federal budget, understood as an instrument for fueling or defueling the growth of the administrative state, became the point of control over which the political parties and the political branches fell to fighting...(snip)
Insofar as Congress is tempted to make general laws on behalf of a perceived public good, it does so primarily on behalf of the expansion of the administrative state. Congress passed what appeared to be a general law concerning health care reform, the Affordable Care Act, more commonly known as Obamacare—but this is clearly not a law in constitutional terms, and makes sense only within the context of an administrative state.

When passed it was more than 2,500 pages long, and all it did was provide the administrative apparatus with the right and power to formulate rules and regulations governing health care nationwide. This extension of governmental power, or more precisely the power of unelected bureaucrats, is compatible with the administrative state, but not with the letter or the spirit of constitutional government.

John Locke, the most important political theorist of the American Founding era, described laws as a community’s “standing rules, indifferent, and the same to all parties.” None of these elements are to be found in the Affordable Care Act.

As Charles Kesler noted in the Claremont
Review of Books, such laws...

...start not from equal rights but from equal (and often unequal) privileges, the favors or benefits that government may bestow on or withhold from its clients. The whole point is to empower government
officials, usually unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats, to bless or curse your petitions as they see fit, guided, of course, by their expertness in a law so vast, so intricate, and so capricious that it could justify a hundred different outcomes in the same case. When law ceases to be a common standard of right and wrong and a common measure to decide all controversies, then the rule of law ceases to be republican and becomes despotic. Freedom itself ceases to be a right and becomes a gift, or the fruit of a corrupt bargain, because in such degraded regimes those who are close to and connected with the ruling class have special privileges.

In summary, Congress has become a major player in the administrative state precisely by surrendering its constitutional purpose and ceasing to defend limited government. As a result, the administrative state has grown dramatically since 1965, and it only continues to defend and expand its turf.

Political opposition occasionally arises in the White House or in Congress, but thus far with little effect. Despite its expansion under both parties, however, the administrative state has not attained legitimacy.

The Constitution itself remains the source of authority for those in and out of government who oppose the administrative state, and a stumbling block to those who support it. Until either the administrative state or the Constitution is definitively delegitimized, the battle within both government and the electorate over the size and scope of the federal government— including government shutdowns and showdowns over the debt limit—will inevitably continue"

Charlie Rangel: Obama Figured Out Secret, ‘Use Executive Orders For Everything’

President Obama should drop the charade of democracy and rule directly through executive orders, U.S. Rep. Charlie Rangel told a New York news station.

In an interview that praised Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senate Democrats for doing away with filibusters on most presidential nominees, Rangel told NY1 that Obama has already set a precedent for making his own laws without regard for Congress, according to Politicker.

When Obama announced last year that illegal immigrants brought to this country by their parents would no longer be deported, the president wrote a script that could be used in many acts to come, Rangel said.

“You know, the DREAM Act for the kids that came over here and didn’t know their hometown, the president did that by executive order,” Rangel said. “What I did is I’ve taken out the language that he used, and I’m gonna see why we can’t use executive orders for everything.”

Rangel is ghetto gentry, a conscienceless con man who’s built a career enriching himself at the expense of taxpayers and his own supposed New York “community.” In 2010, he became the first congressman censured by the full House almost 30 years.

That was for evading taxes on property he owned in the Dominican Republic (while he was chairman of the House Appropriations Committee), occupying four “rent-controlled” apartments in his Harlem district that are supposed to assist fixed-income tenants (he used one as a campaign headquarters), and pimping congressional letterhead to attract money to build a monument to himself at City College of New York.

Now this man, who at 83 has abused the democratic process for his own ends for decades, has had enough of democracy.

“What’s [Obama] gonna do?” Rangel asked. “Make the Republicans angry? They’re gonna get annoyed? They’re not gonna cooperate?”

No, Congressman, they’re not gonna cooperate.

But if Obama and this country’s libs ever do succeed in dismantling constitutional democracy in the United States, the Dominican Republic sounds like a fine place for a useless congressman to retire to.

They’ve raised taxes down there to pay for a swollen government and welfare benefits, but smart guys can always figure out how to get around them.

Rangel should fit right in.

Seattle City Councilmember/Elect Kshama Sawant Calls For Seizing Means of Production

What will the changing demographics of America mean for our future, if Democrats and their RINO collaborators manage to displace the American population with Third World foreigners?

The native Left is hoping it looks something like this:
Seattle City Councilmember-elect Kshama Sawant [a socialist from India] told Boeing machinists her idea of a radical option, should their jobs be moved out of state.
A deal that would guarantee that doesn’t happen for eight years was rejected because the union would have had to make pension concessions. It isn’t only state governments that could face bankruptcy if gold-plated pensions aren’t brought under control. But unions don’t make concessions, no matter how reasonable — not in the Age of Hope & Change.
“The workers should take over the factories, and shut down Boeing’s profit-making machine,” Sawant announced to a cheering crowd of union supporters in Seattle’s Westlake Park Monday night.
Mobs taking over factories sounds like something that could only have happened in the dark days of the Russian Revolution. Actually, it happened in Detroit during the Depression. A sympathetic FDR refused to send in the National Guard so that the “profit-making machine” could get back to producing cars. Obama used means only superficially less thuggish to help the UAW seize control of Chrysler, illegally stiffing secured creditors.

Consider that phrase — profit-making machine. To a moonbat like Sawant, it is an invective.

They don’t believe anything should be able to function efficiently enough to generate a profit.

They don’t believe anyone should enjoy the wealth profits create. They don’t believe in the freedom we have when we are able to create wealth through our own efforts.

What they do believe in is power. The dimmer among them may believe in some of the wacky rhetoric they use to dupe idiots into letting them have it. For example, here’s what Sawant plans to do with Boeing’s property after the means of production have been seized:
“We can re-tool the machines to produce mass transit like buses, instead of destructive, you know, war machines,” she told KIRO 7.
Democracy means that if the majority of the population becomes sufficiently debased to vote for people like Sawant, then people like Sawant will rule us.

PARTY LIKE HITLER BELOW!!!

Obama and Senate Dems Conspire to Appoint Jeremiah Wright-Type Radical Judges Throughout Courts by Changing Senate Rules on Filibuster

A despondent yet vengeful Sen. Harry Reid slithered out his office today and with the help of his fellow creepy crawler Senate Democrats changed a 200 year plus old rule that severely diminishes the capacity of Republicans to mount a filibuster against Obama’s most radical judge appointees.

Now Obama can appoint the Rev. Al Sharpton to a judge seat and GOPers are powerless to stop him.  This is who progressives are—ruthless and nasty!

Welcome to Obama’s version of the Third Reich!

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), the Senate’s leading critic of the Affordable Care Act, denounced a vote Thursday to prohibit filibusters against appellate court nominees as a scheme to save the health law.

“The heart of this action is directed at packing the D.C. Circuit because that is the court that will review the lawless behavior of the Obama administration implementing ObamaCare,” he said.

“President Obama and the administration refuse to follow the plain text of the law, and the D.C. Circuit is the court of appeals that has been holding the administration accountable."

Cruz said the rule change, which passed Thursday with 50 Democratic votes, “was designed to pack that court with judges that they believe will be a rubber stamp.”...More Here

For every action there’s an equal and opposite reaction.  THE PEOPLE will respond in kind to this treachery!

Obama's Secret Service Agent Warns Us About Our "Thug In Chief"

You may have your suspicions about what’s going on behind closed doors at the White House.

But according to one of US President Obama’s former body guards it’s much worse than Americans can even imagine.

Dan Bongino has protected numerous Presidents over his career, including President Obama.

He has been within ear-shot of many a discussion in the Oval Office, but up until this administration has stayed out of the lime light. Apparently, however, the activities of this administration are so abhorrent that he could no longer keep quiet.

Bongino is so upset with what he witnessed that he is now running for Congress because he feels it’s the only way to take America back from the sycophants who have made every effort to enrich themselves with money and power at the expense of the American people.

How bad is it?
"We’re in a lot of trouble.
The President sees government – and I think it’s because of his lack of experience and maybe community organizing in the past – as this shiny new toy.
For all the disagreements I had with Clinton, Carter and Bush there were always limits… there was that line you just didn’t cross… We cross it seemingly every day.
We’re lost in the scandals…
The Jamie Dimon shakedown at Chase… the HHS scandal… Kathleen Sebelius shaking down the health care industry for money… the IRS… it’s to the point where these scandals in and of themselves would be huge back-breaking scandals [but] are just lost in the scandal fog of this administration…
It’s worse than people know… and I’m not trying to scare you either."
This is coming from someone who has stood next to Presidents for his entire career.

The implications are absolutely terrifying, especially considering how bad the publicly known scandals already are. Can you imagine what’s happening outside the view of Americans?

This is not about Republican or Democrat, it’s about liberty, pure and simple, and this administration has done more to damage our individual rights than any that has come before it.

Bongino expresses this succinctly when discussing the NSA scandal and the administration’s use of the information acquired by government snoops all over the country.
"You give the government information and it will be abused. It is not a matter of if it’ll be abused, it’s only a matter of when…
When the line between the personal self and the public self… when that line is determined by the government that keeps your information in a trove for release any time they need it, how are you free?
…the bottom line is, having worked inside the government, it will be abused. It is only a matter of time.
We are all doing something wrong. The catch is not “if” we’re doing something wrong. It is “are your private wrongs impacting on my civil liberties?” If not, the government has no business in your life… it’s a red herring…
If you’re not doing something wrong? The question is only whether your private wrongs that have no effect on anyone else become exposed for the government’s benefit.
…It’s only a matter of time before someone slaps an email on your desk from fifteen years ago… and says ‘look what we got against you.’
Remember, when the key is held by someone else liberty means absolutely nothing.
That personal and private self are being evaporated."
Make no mistake. They – and that especially includes this administration and/or agents acting under their directives and initiatives – will use everything they can against you when it suits them.

The prerogative has always been to destroy anything or anyone who threatens the establishment. We’ve seen it time and again with this, as well as past, White House administrations and Congressional membership.

Now, more than ever before, they will start targeting those who speak out against them and jeopardize their agenda...Read More Here

Leftist Fraud Update: Census Faked 2012 Election Jobs Report

Surely the Obama sheeple aren't lying to us AGAIN!

"In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign,  the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington.  The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated. And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

"Just two years before the presidential election, the Census Bureau had caught an employee fabricating data that went into the unemployment report, which is one of the most closely watched measures of the economy.

And a knowledgeable source says the deception went beyond that one employee — that it escalated at the time President Obama was seeking reelection in 2012 and continues today..." [More H/T to ECS

Yo Higher Taxes Pay For My Healthcare; Thanks President Obama...If Yo Don't Like It Yo Is A RACCCIST

Washington DC: "The Gayest Place In America"

Barack and Reggie seen nodding in approval.

Via Washington Examiner:
The New York Times has declared Washington, D.C., the “gayest place in America,” in part because politics is a huge draw for gays and lesbians.

The Sunday Styles story highlights Washington’s coming out in several statistics that show the city a top draw for gays, a growing community where same-sex couples make up 18.1 household for every 1,000.
Author Jeremy W. Peters gives politics some of the credit for making Washington the gay capital.
“Why are they all here?” he asks. “One answer seems to be that they have always been here. Gays and lesbians do seem to be drawn to politics in disproportionately high numbers. [Democratic lobbyist Steve] Elmendorf told me he thinks that gay people, because they were mostly without children, were able to resist the draw of higher pay in the private sector.”
