The Gaystapo Rides Again

"It looks like the Gaystapo is really up in arms over my recent series of articles on Cisco’s firing of Frank Turek. I can tell because I’m starting to get emails from them that are full of ALL CAPS – not to mention intentional misunderstanding of the central moral and legal issues I’ve been discussing. The following, which was posted on a homosexual website and then sent to my private email address, is illustrative:

This is one of the rare times I agree with a member of the Gaystapo. In fact, his “ranty” missive is right in two important respects:

1. The Frank Turek case is not about the First Amendment. That is why we have never asserted that it is about the First Amendment. It is about tolerance and the manner in which employees treat one another. Even a blind homosexual, like a blind squirrel, occasionally finds a nut – although, in this case, I should probably say “acorn.”

2. Private speech does have consequences. When you express yourself in the court of public opinion, people may well be angered by what you say. Consequently, they might not want to work with you. I suppose that even a broken homosexual, like a broken clock, is right twice a day.

The fact that Cisco Systems has angered many people with its speech – in the form of one-sided homosexual activism – is clearly exacerbating its current financial woes. In fact, Fox News is reporting that Cisco is considering slashing as many as 10,000 jobs as it struggles to recoup from recent market losses.
Furthermore, according to Bloomberg News, Cisco is mulling cutting as many as 7,000 spots by the end of August. The 10,000 figure represents one-seventh of its total workforce. Cisco, which is the world’ largest networking-equipment maker, is also providing early-retirement packages to several thousand workers. There have been no indications as to whether Cisco will consider employee stance on the issue of same-sex marriage when making the proposed workforce cuts.
Regardless, these potential job cuts come after Cisco suffered an 18% decline in fiscal third-quarter earnings and revealed plans for $1 billion in cost reductions amid a weaker-than-expected outlook for the current quarter. This significant decline coincided with the public controversy concerning the Turek firing – a quarter during which CEO John Chambers received thousands of letters of protest concerning Cisco’s policies of inclusion and diversity. The company’s shares have declined 23.7% year-to-date and lost nearly one-third of their value over the past 52 weeks. Yet there is no indication whether Cisco will now take time off from firing Christians for their religious beliefs and instead devote their time to regaining the confidence of their shareholders.
I’m sorry for getting a bit ranty but I am sick to death of the Gaystapo trying to hide behind free speech. It’s not a magic stupidity shield that makes it okay to function as a company full of sanctimonious hypocrites. No one wants to do business with a company like that. And it’s not really a First Amendment issue."

"How many times does this have to be explained before people finally figure out how the freedom of speech works? The freedom of speech is NOT a freedom from consequences. Your constitutional rights are ONLY protected from GOVERNMENT intervention. That’s it. The freedom of speech ONLY exists to protect you from the government stepping in an [sic] telling you what you can and can’t say.
Private companies and private citizens are not the government.
If (Frank Turek) had been arrested for what he said then yes, it’s a free speech case. If Cisco was entirely funded by tax payer dollars thus making them an extension of state or federal government then yes, it would be a free speech case. Neither occurred. It is not a free speech case.
Most companies, especially those that deal with sensitive information like Cisco, have very strict policies about how employees conduct themselves online in their free time. And your [sic] patently wrong that there’s “no evidence that Turek’s extracurricular activities affected his work with Cisco and its employees in the least” because the initial complaint was made by someone who attended one of his seminars. An employee complained about another employee. So yes… there is evidence that it affected Cisco employees because that’s where the complaint came from.
Sorry for getting a bit ranty but I am sick to fucking death of homophobes trying to hide behind free speech as if it’s this magic stupidity shield that makes it ok to be a moron."

Your Place In The Caliphate

These are some of Obama's "Islamic advisors"--FOR REAL!
In this Self Help Video you will learn everything that you will need in the New Obama World Order and Sharia compliant Kaliphate. Of course Chicago is hosting this "meeting of the minds".

And Here You See Who Will REALLY Be In Charge!

A radical Islamist group which claims a presence in nearly 50 countries is so confident it can help establish a global Muslim government – or caliphate – that it distributed a draft constitution during a recent conference outside of Chicago.

It calls for the death penalty for apostates and for creating a government department dedicated to jihad.

The latest Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) gathering drew more than 300 people to a DoubleTree Hotel ballroom June 26.

(HT) is an international movement to establish a global Islamic state, or caliphate (Khilafah). Although it is officially committed to nonviolence, HT preaches a virulent brand of hatred for the United States, and for Western democracy in general.

Its alumni include such violent Islamists as Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, and the late Iraqi jihadist Abu Musab Zarqawi.

Hizb ut-Tahrir has been described as a "conveyor belt" of terror.

At the conference, activists portrayed Islam as the only real force in the world standing up to the United States and the West.

With Soviet communism gone, the West is now confronted with the threat posed by Islam, said a speaker identified as Reza Imam. He has served as
a spokesman for the organization.

"And they see the return of Islam," he warned. "And this, brothers and sisters, is the shaking [of] the thrones." Islam's foes "see the coming revival of Islam, and they know what that means and they know what it means for their policies," Imam said.

At the conference, HT activists distributed a brochure detailing how the Muslim state would be governed. The document is "to be studied by Muslims while they are working to establish the Islamic State that will carry the Islamic da'wah (proselytizing) to the world," it says.

The document would govern "the Islamic State in the Islamic world" and does not target individual countries.

The pamphlet, entitled "Khilafah State Structure: Introduction to the Constitution," contains charts illustrating how a caliphate government would function along with a draft constitution.

"Those that are guilty of apostasy (murtad) from Islam are to be executed according to the rule of apostasy, provided they have themselves renounced Islam," says Article 7.

Moreover, "if they are born as non-Muslims, i. e., if they are the sons of apostates, then they are treated as non-Muslims according to their status as being either polytheists (mushriks) or People of the Book."

The caliphate government would establish an "Internal Affairs Department" which would include a division of "Apostasy."

Waging jihad would be a top priority for the government. The caliphate cabinet includes a senior-level "Private Secretary" for jihad. The "Military Department" – which appears to be a cabinet-level agency –would be headed by a "Field Marshall," who appoints a "Director of Jihad," his second in command. Included within the Treasury department would be something called a "Department of Jihad."

The Treasury would be divided into two divisions: one handling revenue, which includes a "War booties Agency," and the other covering expenditures, which includes both a "Dept. of Jihad" and a "Director of Jihad Office" on its organizational chart.

Articles 51 through 55 of the draft constitution would establish an "Amir (military leader) of Jihad" who would supervise holy war-related activities in government agencies.

The group believes that this year's revolutions in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, Syria and other states offer Muslims an opportunity to throw off the shackles of Western colonialism.

"No longer are the Muslims afraid of these regimes who have oppressed the masses," reads a flyer for the conference that appears on the HT website.
"Will the Muslim world rid itself of Western colonial interference? Will these events lead to the application of Islam and the re-establishment of the Khilafah (caliphate) State?"

Arab rulers are pretending to be legitimate leaders just as Soviet Communist Party leaders used to do, Imam told the conference.

For the West, the "front line" in the struggle against Islam is ensuring that the "tyrants" in the Muslim world remain in power, Imam said.Speakers cited Syrian dictator Bashar Assad. Libya's Muammar Gaddafi, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, and Pakistan Army Chief of Staff Ashfaq Parvez Kayani as examples of Muslim leaders who must be replaced.

The Pakistani Army announced last month that it arrested Brigadier Ali Khan and four majors in an investigation of Hizb ut-Tahrir's infiltration of the military there. Khan, assigned to Army General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, is the most senior Pakistani military officer known to have been arrested for alleged involvement with radical groups since 9/11.

While Hizb ut-Tahrir has struggled to win followers in the United States, its name has come up in connection with several recent terror-related arrests.

Farooque Ahmed, 34, was arrested last October and charged with plotting to blow up Washington, D.C. metro stops and a D.C. hotel frequented by members of the military.

Authorities found Hizb ut-Tahrir literature when they searched Ahmed's suburban Virginia home. In April, he pled guilty to terror-related chargesand was sentenced to 23 years in prison.

Antonio Martinez, a 21-year-old Muslim convert who also goes by the name of Muhammad Hussain, was arrested in December and charged with plotting to blow up an Army recruiting center near Baltimore. He reportedly followed the teachings of Omar Bakri Muhammad, a Muslim Brotherhood member who founded HT in England.

At Hizb ut-Tahrir America's June 26 conference, speakers attacked President Obama as an enemy of Muslims."Obama visits the Middle East and our [Muslim] public rulers rush to shake his bloody hands. They send up their armies to dance for him," one speaker said. "They roll out red carpets to welcome the butcher of Iraq."

Under the caliphate, Muslims would not be forced to live "under what 'Sheikh Obama' or Assad or Erdogan believed" but under the rule of Islam, a speaker identified as Abu Atallah declared.

Middle Eastern leaders "and their masters in the West" have been "shaken to the core," said Reza Imam, who pointed to statements by former President George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld warning of the dangers posed by the establishment of a caliphate.

"They see their hard work being undone," he said. "It's like a dreaded, fearful occurrence for them – that Muslims want to unite and live under Islam."

"It's criminal to them," Imam continued. "And this is why their thrones are shaken. They're terrorized by this – simply that Muslims want to obey Allah."

HT seeks to re-establish the caliphate that had existed during the Ottoman Empire, abolished by Turkish leader Kemal Ataturk in 1924.

Once it is in place, "our problems would disappear and the forces of Satan would be pushed back," Abu Atallah said.Once the caliphate is established, the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem "would be taken back from the Crusaders (Israel)," Atallah said. Asked whether Sunni/Shiite animosity would be an obstacle to establishing a caliphate, another speaker dismissed the intra-Muslim rivalry dating back more than 13 centuries as "something the West has instilled in us."

Audience members responded enthusiastically to the attacks on the United States and quoted writings from columnist Patrick Buchanan portraying Islam as ascendant and the West in decline, interrupting speakers time and again with shouts of "Takbir" and "Allahu Akbar." The speakers responded by joining the chants themselves.

Because of today's revolutions in the Arab world, the West "is trembling with fear – as it should be," one speaker said. "Bullets were no match for the ummah's (Muslim nation's) power."

Charlie Rangel Finds God---Finally??

Washington (CNN) – Veteran Democratic Rep. Charlie Rangel made an impassioned plea to religious leaders Friday, calling on them to lobby members of Congress and the Obama administration to remember the “lesser of my brothers and sisters” during this weekend’s debt negotiations.
“What would Jesus do this weekend? Or Moses. Or Allah. Or anyone else,” the New York congressman said at a press conference on Capitol Hill. “I don’t want this book (debt negotiations) closed without the clergy having an opportunity to forcefully express themselves as well as I know they can do.”"Why don't you call your pastor, your rabbi, your imam? There has to be a moral answer,"

He sounds so pious and dignified HERE!

The Congressional Minute

Thank you Mr. Speaker. I reserve whatever time that I may consume.
I rise today in support of two amendments to the Energy Department appropriations bill brought forward yesterday by Representative McClintock of Truckee, CA.

This is the home of my esteemed colleague Odie / Woodsterman.

I must support the efforts of these great men of vision in their efforts to show the light of day on Eco-Fascism. Rep. McClintock has made a valient push in defunding GREEN subsidies.
The money grubbers were to many to oppose on both sides of the aisle yesterday however. The proposed amendments failed in voice vote.
I am appalled at the lack of vision and the complicit nature of my Republican colleagues when it comes to Energy Department funding overruns. There is over 3 Billion dollars from Obama stimulis cash still waiting to be spent and the Greens want more money. I applaud the Coservative Caucus however for voting down the increased spending in the amendments offered by Representatives Kaptur of OH, and Rep. Markey and Waxman.
I agree with Rep. McClintock and Thomas Jefferson when they say; "When government tells us when to sow and when to reap, we will be wanting bread."
I also rise in support of the repeal of the curly, mercury filled light bulb mandate which comes to the floor tonight.
I now yield the balance of my time to my esteemed colleague (and Michele Bachmann supporter)  Odie for closing statements. Thank you Mr. Speaker.

Our Dear Comrade

The Communist Party USA helped their “friend” Barack Obama win his 2004 US Senate primary race and hailed the result as a “victory for independent, grassroots coalition politics over money and machine politics.”
Obama was always connected to Illinois communists. As the late Marxist leader Manning Marable, wrote in the December 2008 issue of British Trotskyite journal Socialist Review;
What makes Obama different is that he has also been a community organiser. He has read left literature, including my works, and he understands what socialism is. A lot of the people working with him are, indeed, socialists with backgrounds in the Communist Party or as independent Marxists. There are a lot of people like that in Chicago who have worked with him for years…

The CPUSA’s People Weekly World of March 27, 2004 makes it clear that the Party approved of Obama’s primary win and saw his campaign as inspirational.

Not only did the Illinois Communist Party cheer Obama’s primary victory, they actively campaigned for it. “Immersed” in the campaign , according to Illinois CPUSA organizer John Bachtell.

Peoples Weekly World, April 14, 2004, page 10

There is little doubt that Obama would have won his Senate primary without Communist Party help. The question is – why did the communists single out Obama for special attention?
What did the communists know about Barack Obama in 2004, that most Illinois voters did not?
What does the Communist Party , which still loyally supports Obama to this day, know about the US president, that most American voters still do not?
Or do the communists support Obama simply because they believe in “hope” and “change”?
