Who Takes The Heat When This Hits The Fan?

Warning: This is not a nice and pretty article. But it is simple.

Unless Barack Obama and Eric Holder take decisive action to prosecute this kind of action they will be responsible for what it leads to. Simple as that.

Here's what the Irish Examiner had to say:
If you're a white person who voted for Barack Obama believing that his election would usher in a post-racial era in America, you must be very disappointed. Race relations have in fact never been more volatile and the nation is now sitting on a time bomb as we draw closer to another election. Whose fault is it? Race-baiting demagogues like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are feverishly trying to exploit the recent killing of a young black man in Florida for their own selfish agenda to boost their fading relevance. Typically they have jumped to conclusions before all the actual facts have been uncovered.

They are once again inciting racial violence by calling the killing of a black teenager, Trayvon Martin, a bias crime because the shooter, George Zimmerman, was first purported to be a white man. It turns out Zimmerman is a Hispanic from a biracial family but why let a little thing like the truth stop them from provoking a mob. The New Black Panther party, which has already been protected by Attorney General Eric Holder, has offered a bounty of 10k on Zimmerman's head. Director Spike Lee, ever sensitive to attacks on blacks, re-tweeted the address of the Zimmerman family. Now why would he do that unless he hoped that a vindictive mob would exact payback for young Martin's death?...Read the whole story here

Earl Scruggs Dies At 88

I once met this man at The Capital Music Hall in Wheeling, WV. My grandfather, who took me to see him, always had the greatest respect for Flatt and Scruggs. He was a character to say the least, and his exploits were not always for the PC crowd to be polite about it. I knew several of the old timers who played there and they could regale you with some stories that would curl the hair of some of the most worldly men among us. May he rest in peace and the Good Lord keep him...Or may he get to hell 10 minutes before the Devil knows he's dead.

Bill Monroe, the man widely acknowledged as the father of bluegrass music, was in search of a new banjo player for his famed Blue Grass Boys when a young musician turned up backstage at Nashville's celebrated Ryman Auditorium during a 1945 Grand Ole Opry radio broadcast, hoping to audition.

Once Monroe and his guitarist, Lester Flatt, heard the sparks fly from 21-year-old Earl Scruggs' instrument, the bandleader asked Flatt what he thought. "If you can, hire him," Flatt told Monroe, "whatever the cost."

Upon joining Monroe's band, Scruggs solidified a lineup that came to define bluegrass, a rural strain of country music typified by the "high lonesome sound" of tight vocal harmonies and frequently peppered with fleet instrumental interplay among guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and string bass, while wholeheartedly adopting the precepts of solo improvisation and collective empathy of jazz.

Scruggs, who died Wednesday in Nashville at 88 of natural causes, according to his son Gary, brought a distinctive three-finger playing style that became the musical touchstone for thousands of instrumentalists who followed in his wake — among them actor, comedian and banjo player Steve Martin — and helped popularize the banjo far beyond its traditional home in Southern regional music...Read More

Indoctrination Camp PS 101

The speech police have made a stealth attack on all speech that may be in some way related to religion in public schools. This is; as Glenn Beck put it; "a poke with a stick" at all conservative thinkers and people of faith. In a slimy backdoor move, the Dept. of Education has painted all believers...no matter their denomination... as stupid and therefor subject to ridicule on the public stage.

Does anyone out there see SAUL ALINSKI"S bony hand in this?

Is there a difference between censorship and blocking the use of certain words to protect the feelings of some people? The New York City school system believes there is and has instructed companies that create testing materials to exclude dozens of words and terms from their submissions.
Some of the “offensive” words and topics:
  • Dinosaur – apparently people who don’t believe in evolution might be offended
  • Halloween – rumored to support Paganism and that bothers some
  • Birthday – Jehovah‘s Witnesses don’t celebrate birthdays, so nobody else should know about it… right?
  • Dancing - unless it is ballet dancing
  • Computers – if mentioned as being in homes… use in schools and libraries is ok
Those are just a few of the subjects considered to be taboo on tests. The city sent a memo to companies that create tests for the NYC schools, more than four dozen words were on a list to be excluded from testing materials. Topics like divorce and disease are to be avoided, because a student taking a test could be the child of a split marriage or might have a sick relative. Mentions of wealthy people could create jealousy. Poverty is also off limits, as poor or non-wealthy kids could be offended...Read More at The Blaze

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum said Thursday that President Obama wants more young adults to go to college so they can undergo “indoctrination” to a secular world view.
In an hour-long interview with conservative television host Glenn Beck, Santorum also defended his record on abortion and his vote in favor of President George W. Bush’s No Child Left Behind education law.
On the president’s efforts to boost college attendance, Santorum said, “I understand why Barack Obama wants to send every kid to college, because of their indoctrination mills, absolutely … The indoctrination that is going on at the university level is a harm to our country.”
He claimed that “62 percent of kids who go into college with a faith commitment leave without it,” but declined to cite a source for the figure. And he floated the idea of requiring that universities that receive public funds have “intellectual diversity” on campus...The Washington Monthly
This has been at the center of the Communist agenda for America for decades...not only in colleges...but at the middle school and high school level as well. It seems only natural that they would move on to the younger students at some point.
Now their time has come under the Obama Regime, when they feel empowered to implement their plans to the fullest.

Now the Council on Foreign Relations...ARRRGGHHHH...has chimed in saying that THE GOVERNMENT MUST TAKE A FIRM HAND ON ALL OF OUR SCHOOLS.

This is just the beginning of the end folks, unless we stop the Dept. of Education in it's tracks NOW!

The United States must improve its education system or risk imperiling national security and the economy, according to a new report from a blue-ribbon panel convened by the Council on Foreign Relations.

“U.S. Education Reform and National Policy,” the product of the 30-member task force chaired by former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Joel I. Klein, former chancellor of the New York City Public Schools, cites statistics demonstrating the failures of the school system and recommends more school-choice efforts, an annual nationwide audit of educational achievement, and national standards in subjects such as civics and foreign languages.

Four commission members, however, dissented from those recommendations...More at The Reason Foundation

The Whole Truth

...And the truth as interpreted by Leftist judges...

As solicitor general of the United States, Justice Elena Kagan served as the head of an office responsible for formulating the Obama administration’s legal defense of its domestic agenda priority — Obamacare.

It could be no surprise to President Obama who appointed her to the Supreme Court that any former solicitor general would have many conflicts for years to come. Now, the Court will soon hear a constitutional challenge to the health-care law. Despite mounting evidence of her substantial participation in the administration’s legal defense of that law, she still has not announced whether she will recuse herself from presiding over the case as a justice.

According to Section 455(b)(3) of Title 28 of the U.S. Code, justices must disqualify themselves in cases where they have “served in governmental employment and in such capacity participated as counsel, adviser, or material witness concerning the proceeding or expressed an opinion concerning the merits of the particular case or controversy.”...Read More at The National Review Online

We The People Demand More Beer

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — About the only thing Kevin Flynn enjoys more than drinking his home-brewed beer is sharing it with fellow beer club members at festivals and tasting competitions. So Flynn and his buddies were shocked to discover that Wisconsin law prohibits sharing homemade suds anywhere outside the brewer’s home.

The law could “pretty much be the end of competitions in Wisconsin,” he lamented. “At least legal ones.”

An explosion of interest in home brewing is forcing lawmakers across the country to review long-forgotten alcohol laws, some of which date back to Prohibition. Although the old rules have rarely been enforced, beer enthusiasts fear they could criminalize the rapidly growing hobby and kill scores of annual tasting events that bring tourists to small towns and cities.

In Wisconsin, Flynn and other home brewers may soon be off the hook. The state Legislature last week passed a bill to allow them to transport homemade beer and wine and to share it with other adults. Brewers will still not be permitted to sell anything they make, and they will remain exempt from permit requirements and taxes...Read More at The Blaze

White House beermaking is a milestone in American culinary history that the Chefs will continue...

UPDATE, Sept. 16, 2011: President serves homebrew to Medal of Honor hero

UPDATE, June 27, 2011: More WH brewing going on...

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama made culinary history when they served homebrewed White House Honey Ale, made with a pound of honey from the White House Beehive, to guests at last month's Super Bowl party. They are the first presidential couple to ever charge their chefs with the ancient--and now wildly popular--art of homebrewing, according to White House Curator Bill Allman.

Obama Does Not Trust The Marines...Or Americans

"The Long Legged Mac-Daddy"

In an incident that underlines this administrations contempt for the Marines, 200 Marines were forced to Disarm and leave their weapons outside a tent where the U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta was set to speak.

This is a highly unusual request since Marines in a combat zone are always supposed to have weapons within their reach. Normally, American Military keep their weapons with them when the defense secretary visits the fact that this was done today is very troubling!
According to reporters at Camp Leatherneck, the Marines were waiting to hear Panetta’s speech when they were abruptly told by their commander to get up, leave their weapons, including M16 and M-4 automatic rifles and 9 mm pistols, outside and return unarmed.
I think this is a slap in the face to everyone who has been asked to put their lives on the line over there. And what kind of message does it send to the enemy when our government is basically saying that THEY DO NOT TRUST THE MILITARY?

I also believe that this is a telling move from the administration. In my opinion it signals not only an assault on the Marine Corp but the coming assault on everyone’s second amendment rights.

Are the Palestinians an Occupied Nation?

No they are not...and they should be defunded!

Laws? – We don’t need no stinkin’ laws!
(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration’s envoy to the United Nations argued on Capitol Hill Tuesday that defunding the United Nation’s cultural agency because it admitted “Palestine” hurts America’s interests more than it does those of the Palestinians.

Appearing before the House Appropriations’ subcommittee responsible for foreign operations, Susan Rice was questioned about the administration’s fiscal year 2013 request for $79 million for the U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

She described UNESCO as “essentially an anti-extremist organization,” saying that it does “essential work, from girls’ education to tsunami warning, that serve U.S. interests.”

“It’s not in our interests for these critical programs to go without 22 percent of U.S. funding.”

Just months after defunding UNESCO last fall — in compliance with U.S. laws dating from 1990 and 1994 – the administration is now seeking a waiver to enable it to resume the funding in coming months.

Dennis Prager: The Real Reason the NAACP Went to Geneva

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the NAACP, has gone to the United Nations — specifically the U.N. Human Rights Council — for, in the words of USA Today, "help battling what the organization views as forces attempting to push back voting rights."
Those "forces" are laws being passed by various states that require a photo ID for voting.

The NAACP move is so absurd and so self-destructive that one has to wonder why the organization has done this. According to the Freedom House 2011 assessment of freedom in the world, of the 41 members of the U.N. Human Rights Council, fewer than half are free countries. Ten are ranked "Not Free," and 12 "Partly Free." Among the "Not Free" members are Angola, China, Congo, Cuba, Jordan, Russia and Saudi Arabia. Those countries' elections, if they have them, are rigged, and prominent opponents are jailed, tortured and killed.

To bring a human rights complaint before countries in which there are almost no human rights is truly absurd. That the alleged human rights violation takes place in the freest country in the world further elevates the level of absurdity. And when the alleged violation is a law that requires all voters, irrespective of race, creed or color, to show photo identification before voting, we have gone beyond the absurd and entered a modern Twilight Zone.

On a tip from Mark Scott

One of the things that turned up, during a long-overdue cleanup of my office, was an old yellowed copy of the New York Times dated July 24, 1992. One of the front-page headlines said: "White-Black Disparity in Income Narrowed in 80's, Census Shows."

The 1980s? Wasn't that the years of the Reagan administration, the "decade of greed," the era of "neglect" of the poor and minorities, if not "covert racism"?

More recently, during the administration of America's first black president, a 2011 report from the Pew Research Center has the headline, "Wealth Gaps Rise to Record Highs Between Whites, Blacks and Hispanics."

While the median net worth of whites was ten times the median net worth of blacks in 1988, the last year of the Reagan administration, the ratio was nineteen to one in 2009, the first year of the Obama administration. With Hispanics, the ratio was eight to one in 1988 and fifteen to one in 2009.

Race is just one of the areas in which the rhetoric and the reality often go in opposite directions. Political rhetoric is intended to do one thing -- win votes. Whether the policies that accompany that rhetoric make people better off or worse off is far less of a concern to politicians, if any concern at all.

Democrats receive the overwhelming bulk of the black vote by rhetoric and by presenting what they have done as the big reason that blacks have advanced. So long as most blacks and whites alike mistake rhetoric for reality, this political game can go on...Read More by Thomas Sowell

Get It While It's Hot

It’s great that the Age of Hope & Change has been such a boon to the guns and ammo business, but in light of alarming preparations to impose martial law, this is ominous:
As many as 450 million rounds of .40-caliber ammunition are being produced for U.S. government agencies by ATK of Minnesota.

The order comes under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for HST bullets.

“We are proud to extend our track record as the prime supplier of .40-caliber duty ammunition for (Homeland Security), ICE,” said Ron Johnson, president of ATK’s Security and Sporting group. “The HST is a proven design that will continue to serve those who keep our borders safe.”
Whatever Homeland Security plans to do with this potent hollow-point ammo, it won’t be keeping our borders safe, if the past three years are any guide. More likely it will be keeping the Regime safe from “terrorists” — i.e., those of us still American enough not to be on board with “fundamental transformation.”

Obama’s Weather Underground friends, who launched his political career, estimated that 25 million “diehard capitalists” would have to be “eliminated” before Hopey Change could be imposed on the USA in all its utopian splendor. That gives Homeland Security 18 rounds for each of us.

Gimme Back My Bullets

For your St. Patty's day celebrations and general fun...may I suggest that you listen to this concert clip from a performance by my old friends in Lynyrd Skynyrd.
I was in attendance at this show back in my days on the left coast.

Then watch this video as some Russian gangstas show us how it really gets done!

However I must agree with this following assessment of this weapon...

This is stupid. One .45 ACP round has about 500 ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle (depending on the load). So we will say this gun has 1000 ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle. So why don't you get a Desert Eagle Chambered in .44 magnum (1200 ft/lbs) or .50AE (1600 ft/lbs at the muzzle)? A Desert Eagle is thinner and probably better balanced than this stupid thing, too.

HAVE A GREAT DAY Y'ALL...

Soros Endorses Mittens

This does not surprise me in the least. Romney will change his spots to suit those who are REALLY in charge behind the scenes. Georgie Boy here sees an opportunity to take more control of the executive reins of power should Mittens get the Republican nod.

Despite narrow primary wins in Alabama and Mississippi, Rick Santorum (Pa.) has fallen further behind in the delegate count to front-runner Mitt Romney, who won caucuses in Hawaii and American Samoa and captured about 30 percent of the vote in the two Southern states.

Because delegates are awarded proportionally in both Alabama and Mississippi, Romney won 23 delegates in those two states, compared to 31 for Santorum and 24 for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (Georgia), according to the most recent projections by the Associated Press. But Romney captured 14 more delegates than Santorum in Hawaii and American Samoa, AP said, for a net gain of six delegates...Read More at The Washington Post

Caught on Tape: Dead People and Clones Offered Ballots in Vermont Primary

Here are some more examples of the blatant voter fraud being planned and totally supported by this Obama regime in the upcoming election.

More Obama voter fraud and skulduggery. The enemedia is an activist propaganda arm for this subversive, criminal party. If they did their job even badly, no one would self identify as a Democ rat.
Fomer Obama staffer arrested in Iowa Secretary of State identity theft investigation. Moe Lane, RedState
Reports are coming in (via @CFHeather) that a former Obama ’08 staffer – one Zach Edwards, formerly with the 2008 Obama campaign in Iowa and currently up until the arrest working for Link Strategies*, a company affiliated with Sen. Tom Harken (D, IA) – has been arrested for identity theft.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety puts it fairly succinctly: “According to the Criminal Complaint, on June 24, 2011, Edwards fraudulently used, or attempted to use, the identity of Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz and/or Secretary Schultz’s brother, Thomas Schultz, with the intent to obtain a benefit, in an alleged scheme to falsely implicate Secretary Schultz in perceived illegal or unethical behavior while in office.” In other words: Edwards is accused of trying to pretend to be Schultz in order to get Schultz in trouble. The crime is listed as an ‘Aggravated Misdemeanor,’ but if convicted Edwards could face jail time.

This Is How You Do It

By Chris WThe Libertarian Patriot

With the filing of H. CON. RES. 107 by Rep Walter Jones (R-NC) impeachment proceedings against Barry have begun. The resolution brought forth by Rep Jones asserts that "President Pull-Ups" abused his power when he involved the US in military actions in Libya last year.

112th CONGRESS
2d Session
H. CON. RES. 107
Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

March 7, 2012

Mr. JONES submitted the following concurrent resolution; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

Whereas the cornerstone of the Republic is honoring Congress's exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution: Now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That it is the sense of Congress that, except in response to an actual or imminent attack against the territory of the United States, the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress violates Congress's exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution and therefore constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

The resolution now goes to the House Judiciary Committee where they will decide if a House vote is warranted. If the measure is passed by a simple majority vote in the House, then the Barry is impeached and will face a trial in the Senate.

Should this get to the Senate, the Administration will most likely argue that the War Powers Resolution did not apply since US troops were not actively engaged in the fighting and that there were no US "boots on the ground". There could also be the argument made that as a member of NATO, the US was bound to provide support.

Of course there will be the wailing from the left that this is nothing more than a political ploy in an election year by the GOP, but the fact of the matter remains that many legal scholars believe that the "War President" abused his power when he involved US personnel and hardware in the "kinetic action" in Libya; an internal skirmish within a sovereign nation that posed no threat to our national security.

Stand By Your Women!

Michelle Malkin...I’m sorry Rush Limbaugh called 30-year-old Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a “slut.”

She’s really just another professional femme-a-gogue helping to manufacture a false narrative about the GOP “war on women.”

I’m sorry the civility police now have an opening to demonize the entire right based on one radio comment — because it’s the progressive left in this country that has viciously and systematically slimed female conservatives for their beliefs.

We have the well-worn battle scars to prove it. And no, we don’t need coddling phone calls from the pandering president of the United States to convince us to stand up and fight.

At his first press conference of the year on Tuesday, the Nation’s Concern Troll explained that he phoned Fluke to send a message to his daughters and all women that they shouldn’t be “attacked or called horrible names because they are being good citizens.”

After inserting himself into the fray and dragging Sasha and Malia into the debate, Obama then told a reporter he “didn’t want to get into the business of arbitrating” language and civility. Too late, pal.

The fact is, “slut” is one of the nicer things I’ve been called over 20 years of public life. In college during the late 1980s, it was “race traitor,” “coconut” (brown on the outside white on the inside) and “white man’s puppet.”

After my first book, “Invasion,” came out in 2001, it was “immigrant-hater,” the “Radical Right’s Asian Pitbull,” “Tokyo Rose” and “Aunt Tomasina.”

In my third book, 2005′s “Unhinged,” I published entire chapters of hate mail rife with degrading, unprintable sexual epithets and mockery of my Filipino heritage.

If I had a dollar for every time libs have called me a “Manila whore” and “Subic Bay bar girl,” I’d be able to pay for a ticket to a Hollywood-for-Obama fundraiser.
To the HuffPo left, whore is my middle name. ...Read More

Great Expectations and Dashed Hopes

I attended the Rick Santorum Super Tuesday speech last night at Steubenville Big Red HS. Enthusiasm was high and the expectations of the overflowing crowd were great. In the end however, Ohio turned over it's delegates to Mittens.
Romney won by 12,000 votes or so, largely due to the ballots cast by the mostly liberal urban centers...Cleveland and Cincinnati.

Some in the local media are saying that Santorum lost because he failed to spend enough here in OH. Others proclaim that the loss is due to his alienation of; and loss of support by; unmarried women. {This presumably due to his recent statements regarding contraception}

At the expense of being identified as a "Rushie" these images largely declare my position on this matter.

You can watch the full speech HERE if you wish, but perhaps one of the underlying reasons for Santorum's appeal lies embedded in the following clip from last night.

...Or perhaps not...but I just had to inject this point...

Rick really needs to get into attack mode and go all caveman on Obama in the coming months.

I do not subscribe to the sly commentary and subliminal messaging included in this Buzz Feed clip, but it does have some merit.

STEUBENVILLE, OHIO -- Mitt Romney's people thought Mitt Romney was going to win Ohio on Super Tuesday. Rick Santorum's people thought Mitt Romney was going to win Ohio, too.

But in the end, the result was closer than anyone anticipated, with Romney pulling narrowly ahead late Tuesday night by a margin of a single percentage point. Santorum, who had led early returns for much of the evening, had clearly given Romney a bad scare, and it was enough for him to claim a moral victory.

"We've won races all over this country against the odds," Santorum told a few hundred supporters who gathered in a high-school gymnasium in this Ohio Valley steel town, not far from Pittsburgh on the other side of the Ohio River. "When they thought, 'OK, he's finally finished,' we keep coming back. We are in this thing."

Santorum nearly won this pivotal state despite having been outspent by a wide margin. In the other states that voted, Romney also underperformed somewhat. He won Idaho, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Virginia, but Santorum took Oklahoma, Tennessee, and North Dakota, while Newt Gingrich ran away with Georgia.

Santorum's chief strategist, John Brabender, said GOP voters were sending a message to Romney: Not so fast. "He's saying, 'It's halftime, I'm winning, let's call the game.' And people aren't buying it," Brabender said...Read More at The Atlantic

On a happier note...
From Cleveland...one of the the liberal/progressive bastions of our state, Dennis Kuchinich, Ohio's "Favorite Communist Alien Son" has lost the Democrat primary for his district to "Political Whore" Marcy Kaptur.
I am only quoting the  website here...so don't lose it you PC nuts out there.
She will go on to run against "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher in the main election, in what is building up to be a hottly contested race.

The Lefty Loons at MSLSD are crying real crocodile tears!

"That's amazing," a shocked Rachel Maddow reacted to the news that Dennis Kucinich lost his primary race on Super Tuesday. Kucinich lost his district after Ohio redrew their Congressional lines, leaving him to run in a nearby district against an incumbent Democrat.

"That means that there's not going to be a Dennis Kucinich in Congress anymore, which is almost hard to believe. He has been a singular force for his, not only for his ideological position but he's just been such a character," Maddow lamented.

"He was the dependable guy with the progressive community. He'll be missed," Al Sharpton said.

"He's a guy that you could always count on when it came to a universal healthcare conversation, or when it came to getting out of Iraq and Afghanistan and also middle-class issues and also he was good on labor," Ed Schultz said.

Kucinich wasn't just popular with the MSNBC crowd as Chris Matthews will note.
