New Zeal Blog...The Antelope Valley is a vast patch of desert on the outskirts of Los Angeles County, and a segment of the few rugged individualists who live out there increasingly are finding themselves the targets of armed raids from local code enforcement agents, who’ve assembled into task forces called Nuisance Abatement Teams (NATs).

The plight of the Valley’s desert dwellers made regional headlines when county officials ordered the destruction of Phonehenge: a towering, colorful castle constructed out of telephone poles by retired phone technician Kim Fahey. Fahey was imprisoned and charged with several misdemeanors.

But Fahey is just one of many who’ve been targeted by the NATs, which were assembled at the request of County Supervisor Mike Antonovich in 2006. LA Weekly reporter Mars Melnicoff wrote an in-depth article in which she exposed the county’s tactic of badgering residents with minor, but costly, code violations until they face little choice but to vacate the land altogether.

While Sustainable Development appears to be benign, its accompanying Global Biodiversity Assessment report states that only one billion people can be sustained in an industrial society!

ABC News--What would America be like under a Rick Perry presidency? Well, if Rick Perry's Texas is any indication, the country could look forward to 85 mph speed limits, hog hunting from helicopters and a security check "fast-lane" for concealed handgun carriers.

Beginning September 1, for about $500 an hour helicopter hunters can fly over Texas ranchland, rifle in hand and shoot as many hogs as pass through their scopes. While hunting from helicopters was previously outlawed, the "pork chopper" law makes it easier and more cost effective for land owners to fight Texas' wild hog over-population problem from the air where low-flying, fast-moving helicopters can keep up with the 400-pound animals, which can run as fast as 35 miles per hour, over terrain that is often inaccessible by vehicles.

There are 520 miles of Texas highway that have a posted speed of 80 mph, the Austin-American Statesman reports. Utah is the only other state with speed limits as high as 80 mph.

The Pole Tax

So far the Sexually Oriented Business Fee Act has generated about $15 million, but the state cannot access the money because the Texas Entertainment Association, which represents most of Texas' strip clubs, sued the state for infringing on clubs' free-speech rights. The Texas Supreme Court ruled unanimously last week to uphold the law, which state lawmakers estimate will bring in about $44 million once it is fully functional.

After the state Capitol installed metal detectors in May 2010, a "fast lane" was created for concealed handgun license holders so they would not have to remove, or un-conceal, their weapons in order to enter the state house. Perry was adamantly opposed to installing the Capitol's metal detectors, which were put in after a gunman fired shots from the Capitol's south steps in January 2010.
"I'm always up for looking at new ways to protect our citizens, but the last thing I want is for the Texas Capitol to turn into DFW Airport," Perry said.
The Texas governor is known to pack a .380 Ruger pistol, a fact that became well-known here after Perry shot and killed a coyote while jogging with his dog in February 2010. Perry claimed the coyote was threatening his Labrador retriever.

For Texans who are fed up with fishing poles, the Legislature has heeded their catfish catches woes. Starting Thursday fisherman will be allowed to "noodle" or wade into the muddy waters of Texas lakes and rivers and pull out catfish with their bare hands.

"No one knows why it was illegal," the bill's author Rep. Gary Elkins, R-Houston, told Texas Monthly.

If it looks like a bailout, smells like a payoff, and tastes like crony corruption---the Obama regime is involved.

These are the facts concerning Bank of America's performance record to date. The stock value of B.O.A. stock has fallen 45% in the past year!

     As you may have heard, Warren Buffett has "invested" FIVE BILLION dollars in Obamabank, (Bank of America).  This backdoor bailout will include many perks and tax breaks for Buffett. He will enjoy a guarunteed 11% return on his investment, to be paid ahead of all other shareholders. Tax breaks are incuded at maximum levels.
     Arguably, Obama's chief economic advisor at the moment, Warren Buffet has backed El Presidente's call for higher taxes on the rich. However , in the meantime, he has hired a team of lawyers just to protect his capital investments from the tax man. This payoff to the Obama political machine is meant to save the Dear Leaders bacon in a number of ways.
     As you probably know, and I am here to tell you, when government gets its grimy corrupt paws on any sector of our economy it is DESTINED TO FAIL! In one manner or another Obummer and Dodd/Frank  have control of many, if not all of the largest banking concerns in America. The smaller community banks are being targeted for litigation on issues of "robo-forclosure" policies and will be driven into ultimate failure by the Obama regime.
     Here is another kicker---Warren Buffett is not acting totally out of altruistic concern for the "Bamster". He has been getting insider info on the future direction of the White House economic policy!
     Two days after Buffett bought into Obamabank, the White House floated a proposal which will be part of Obummer's upcoming economic "bailout" plan to be announced after labor Day. 
     This plan will turn over most of Bank of America's worst toxic asset holdings to Fannie and Freddie---LEAVING YOU, THE TAXPAYER ON THE HOOK FOR THESE, UNSECURED FAILED LOANS TOTALLING IN THE BILLIONS!
     Secondly Buffet has been notified that Obamabank will not be held legally responsible for any illicit practices involving these millions of forclosures---They get a "waiver" in other words.
     Forbes reports that Eric Sneiderman, AG in charge of investigating Bank of America, is under pressure by Obama to "let up". Well, it turns out that Schneiderman had the cajones to stand up to the bamster and was summarily removed fom his position!

In this recent interview, Al Gore admits, in essence, that the whole global warming scheme has been a plan for redistribution of wealth all along. Van Jones our ex-Green Jobs Czar said as much. The very origins of the green movement have been based on so called Civil Rights issues; Said rights to be defined by the Left of course.

During an interview on Current TV with Alex Bogusky, Al Gore implies that denying climate change was akin to racism. Al would know racists when he sees them as his father, Albert Gore, Sr., voted against the 1964 Civil Rights Act....See the Video Here.

Boston Globe---Gov. Deval Patrick, who is on a seven-day trip to Bermuda, got some harsh words from an unusual source last week when Democratic U.S. Sen. John Kerry criticized the state’s involvement with Evergreen Solar, a failed solar panel maker that received millions in tax breaks and subsidies from the administration.

Kerry said the deal was “badly structured” and that Patrick used “bad judgment” in deciding to engineer the deal. He called the practice of Obama subsidizing this firm and others like it was a "huge waste of stimulis money". Kerry did not go so far as to say that Deval Patrick knew anything aforehand of Evergreen's troubled status.

But I will speak of another THUG on the loose here today. 

If you are "connected" in Killaville with all the old skool conotations intended, you can gain an elected position for life, get arrested for drunken driving, leaving the scene, and destruction of property, and you will walk away with a slap on the wrist.

Case in point...one Domenic Mucci, Mayor of Steubenville. This is a token position with no real authority other than to be a "symbol of the community".

As a point of reference, I will recall the story that I told you about last year.

Just before the 2010 elections we were graced by a visit from Nancy Pelosi; The "Pineapple Princess" HERSELF nere in Killaville.

She recieved an award of some sort from Mayor Mucci. He has a list of contacts that go very high up indeed!

Mayor Mucci, like so many other city officials is a "made man'. His family ties and Democrat "connections" have assured this for decades. City Council will not touch this man with a ten foot pole. His status guaruntees this!

I really could not care any less about his sexual preferences, but does this, along with his cozy relationship with the Democrat / Mob Power Elite  give Mayor Mucci a pass on blatant lawless behavior?

Well, here we are. This should be a day of attonement for all free thinking critters everywhere.

This weekend we will see the unveiling of the Martin Luther King Memorial, created and sculpted by a Chi-Com by the way.

I chose today out of a hat for no reason whatsoever, but it seems somehow appropriate to be discussing Civil Rights this coming weekend.

I want this to be an open forum, but I will outline two points of discussion I will intend to focus on while I am here...I will be online from approx. 10:00 till 11:30 EST this morning, and from approx. 2:00 till 4:30 this afternoon.

The Black Bear Rights day is meant to focus on Big Government overreach in two areas...

The way in which this entrenched bureaucratatic Autocracy has decided that it can define  a "Civil Right" as anything from owning a house, to having a cellphone or a broadband connection...as well as a right to YOUR MONEY!

Secondly the way that the EPA, the Dept. of the Interior, and the environmentalists have begun to impose UN agenda 21 on ALL OF US---Locally ant on the national level. Every aspect of your life is to be evalusted to determine your impact on the enviroment and what limits must be olaced on your freedom in order to comply with these arbitrary regulations. 

Incedentally, these regs. will be imposed in the final draft by one Cass Sunstein...who believes animals have civil rights.

The way I see it, if Nancy Pelosi and her constituents want to study the habits of Chimpanzees on cocaine, the exercise regimen of gnats, or the necessity of stopping all oil and gas drilling in the southwest to save a lizard; they should fund the studies themselves and open a conservancy to protect said lizards.

I think that you may see the method to my madness. I intend to draw attention to this agency driven; unconstitutional, land and power grab. These unelected men and women will have their boots on our necks for decades to come unless we demand that REAL power be given back to the states, and to the Congress to define and admintster laws on these two issues.

No matter the outcome of the outcome of the Senate and Presidential races in 2012...these Obama zombies could be in place for many years dismantling our industrial capacity and denying us our Constitutional rights in favor of specific "group rights" or whatever they determine to be the cause de'jour.

I hope that many of my friends out there will move locally and statewide in their own way to POKE THIS BIG BUREAUCRATIC BEAR in the butt! Let's attempt to defund these agencies as soon as possible and also to take this GREEN driven agenda out of our schools and off of the media forefront.

Yes folks, on the eve of Black Bear Rights Day we are announcing a push on Congress to enact the Black Bear Recovery act of 2011!

This push is being headed by a new group of Lib Bears who call themselves "Progressive Bears for Justice" or P. B. and J. for short. (Black bears just love PB&J's)

I wish to thank all of you Progressive minded friends out there who are "raising the awareness" of the plight of Liberal bears everywhere. Some folks have really gotten into the act! 

As you may know, once a Liberal bear has become accustomed to handouts, he does not wish to work for his food anymore...all that digging for roots and berries...running after small game and all can wear a poor bear down.

Almost since the day that Columbus ran aground in the New World there has been a controversy as to whether he had any right to do so. The most radical, deranged Leftist Moonbats would rewrite history as if Columbus was a ruthless invader (in spite of historical evidence showing him to be a totally different character).

The Lefties' utopian dream of an agrarian society based on Native culture and stone age or Dark Age life in the "Greenwood" would be a reality if only Western civilization and the industrial revolution had never touched these "pristine" shores.
Yes, and they would have never been born...and if they were they would probably have been overrun and slaughtered by the millions by advancing hordes of Mongols, Ottomans, or simple dull natives. 

I have some friends (I use the term loosely) in the Native American tribal community who say that they stomp on the American flag in ritual dances and would burn it before putting it up in honor.

The statue of Columbus in Providence, RI has been vandalized in ritual fashion. Even the mention of Columbus in our nation's schoolbooks has been banned and the history lesson has been changed to include a more "diverse" view.

Our nation itself; our very sovereignty; is at risk today because of Federal land grabs involving millions of acres. I feel that The Obama Regime would be only too happy to hand over the land AND control of the natural resources of most western states; even some in the east; to Native and Latino groups. That is after the Chinese and Russians get their piece of the American Pie.

The GOOD American citizen needs to stand is ground against this "Reconquista movement.

Today we see that the fate of  the Colorado River and the whole Colorado basin is to be considered a "Latino issue". This push to "divide the spoils" of America will only intensify over the next several years, as long as borders remain unsecured and Leftist policy is forced on Americans by executive decree.

My essential point to this earlier conjecture is to make you think on the possible changes that might have occurred on the world landscape had America not been discovered at the VERY MOMENT that it was.
The previous visits by others to these shores is not relevent to this discussion lefties...so there!
 The ramifications of a 50 year or a century's delay of the American emergence on the world scene would have been dramatic and possibly chatastrophic...no matter what your idealogical views may be on the matter.

This path we find our Dear Leader and his cronies driving us on will ultimately lead to stagnation and DEATH for this America. Growth cannot be achieved under the stifling grip of a tyrannical autocracy.
