Your Defense Dollars At Work

This is the actual image of the proposed frog statue with a 10 foot fairy on its back set for construction at the Mark Center in Alexandria Virginia. COST---$600,000.00. Your Pentagon has OK'd the statue supported by the National Endowment for the Arts but paid for by the Pentagon. The frog will light up and emit gurgling sounds and sounds of nature.
OH BOY I can't wait to go see it! However funding may be delayed due to public outcry at the frivolous nature of the expenditure. With 600 million (lowball figure) a day being spent in Libya alone, and all the waste in the Defense budget, surely we won't mind a little statue being built in a place where almost no one visits.

The link to the story is below--and I am sorry; it is a toad.

Even I could make a better model than that. I wonder how much the government would give me?
