Kim Jung Il and Obama are Playing You

Stoopid Monkeys...

SEOUL - Washington hopes to have another round of rare denuclearization talks with Pyongyang, said Thursday Glyn Davies, new US special representative for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

"I hope that at some point in the not too distant future we will have an opportunity to get back to the table with (the DPRK officials)," Davies, in Seoul as part of his Asia tour, told reporters after meeting with South Korea's top nuclear envoy Lim Sung-nam for consultations on the DPRK's nuclear issues.

"But quite frankly, we are not interested in talks for talks' sake," he said.

Davies and Lim, Seoul's chief negotiator for the stalled Six-Party Talks over dismantling Pyongyang's nuclear program, discussed the outcome of the two previous rounds of denuclearization talks between the United States and the DPRK and ways to resume the separate nuclear talks involving six regional powers.

The two officials reportedly agreed that Pyongyang should abandon its uranium enrichment program and allow inspectors to verify the disarmament process before holding the third round of rare denuclearization talks.

Washington officials described recent two-way talks with Pyongyang as "positive", but no substantial agreements on resuming the Six-Party negotiations, last held in 2008, were reached...Read More

This meeting has one purpose and one purpose only. The plan is to reinstate the failed policy of "Aid for Demilitarization".
THIS IS MERELY A DISTRACTION BY KIM AND OBAMA.
North Korea is facing famine and starvation of it's people on the same, or even an escalated scale that it has faced in many previous years.
In order to maintain control of the masses and put forth a seemingly progressive face on his oppressive regime worldwide, Kim Jung Il will feign talks with the US while continuing to provoke a confrontation with South Korea. With this ruse being played out on both sides of the Pacific, Kim and Obama will soon reach an agreement on aid for the starving North Korean citizens, much of which will be diverted to Kim's military of course.

AP---SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea says its leader Kim Jong Il has rallied troops at a front-line military base.

State television said Saturday that Kim grabbed the hands of each commanding officer as he visited the base near disputed waters with South Korea. The report recalled last year’s shelling of South Korea’s Yeonpyeong Island that killed four people and said the troops were ready for a similar attack.

North Korean media did not say when Kim made the visit. South Korea conducted large-scale military drills on Wednesday near the maritime border to mark the first anniversary of the North Korean attack...Read More

USA Today---SEOUL, South Korea (AP) – North Korea threatened Thursday to turn Seoul's presidential office into a "sea of fire," one day after South Korea conducted large-scale military drills near a front-line island attacked by North Korea last year.

The exercises marked the first anniversary of North Korea's artillery attack on the South Korean island of Yeonpyeong that killed two marines and two civilians.

The North's military warned in a statement Thursday that "a similar sea of fire" may engulf Seoul's presidential Blue House if South Korean forces ever fire a single shot into North Korea's territory. The warning was carried by North Korean state media...Read More
