You Guys Need To STOP THIS!...But We Are Transparent

The Daily Caller...Embattled Attorney General Eric Holder today demanded The Daily Caller stop publishing articles about the growing calls in Congress for his resignation because of the failed Operation Fast and Furious gun-walking program.

As Holder’s aide was escorting the attorney general offstage following his remarks Tuesday afternoon at the White House, a Daily Caller reporter introduced himself and shook Holder’s hand. The reporter asked him for a response to the growing chorus of federal legislators demanding his resignation.

Holder also blames Americans for gun-running.

Holder stepped towards the exit, then turned around, stepped back toward the reporter, and sternly said, “You guys need to — you need to stop this. It’s not an organic thing that’s just happening. You guys are behind it.”

Holder then walked offstage without answering TheDC’s request for comment about calls for his resignation...via...iowntheworld

Just like clockwork, the Obama administration never misses an opportunity to unload thousands of records it hopes no one will ever bother sifting through during the holidays.

On Black Friday, the White House released more visitor log info — trumpeting disclosures it has fought tooth and nail.

I’ve started looking through the data. And you can, too, right here (suggestion: click on the release date and arrange with newest entries first – they’re dated 11/22/2011):...Visitor list HERE

A few things that jumped out at me:
This August 5, 2011 visit to the president by MSNBC host Rachel Maddow and her party of 7 (click for full size):

She made no mention of the visit on her Aug. 5 show. What did she and POTUS discuss? Just wondering…
Fun fact: According to the White House logs, this was Maddow’s fifth trip to the White House — and fourth to see the president personally.

Another busy bee: Convicted felon, Huffington Post/Alinskyite agitator, and husband of Illinois Democrat Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Robert Creamer.
According to the newly released records, Creamer was at the White House five times in August 2011 meeting with various officials, including Jon Carson, Cecilia Munoz, and Stephanie Cutter. He’s listed nearly 60 times in visitor logs since the start of the administration.
Corruptocrats of a feather…

This is where these two stories are tied together...

“RED ALERT: Deputy A.G. behind ‘Fast and Furious’ met with President Obama four times during the height of the operation”

Posted this to Twitter last evening, but for those who haven’t already seen it, there’s this interesting time line from Doug Ross, who concludes with a summary and a follow-up question pertaining to what he found:
Summary: In early 2010, Gary Grindler was intimately involved in all aspects of Operation Fast and Furious. During the height of the operation, Grindler visited the President on four separate occasions in only two weeks — his only documented meetings with the president at the White House.
So my question is this:
What did President Obama know — and when did he know it?
And where is the mainstream press on this?

Well, evidently, too busy chasing down Herman Cain’s cellphone records to bother combing through White House visitor log document dumps.

Which should serve as yet another reminder: when the mainstream press is in the bag for “progressive” politics and politicians, they have become nothing more than yet another complicit actor in the left’s attempt at a soft coup.

Given the chance, they will destroy every last bit of opposition, and protect to the end their ideological brethren — at least, to the point where finally throwing them under the bus is a necessary feint to serving the Greater ideological Good.

I fear it will take a civil war and a cultural overhaul to root out the institutionalized leftism too many Americans view fatalistically as a force of nature, and not as a specific and intentionally constructed paradigm under which we are being made to live.

The press is the only chance Obama has to winning the next election. There are too many people turning away from the MSM for it to work I believe.

I told some disenheartened conservatives on a Freedom Works site yesterday that WE ARE THE MEDIA now. Some don't realize what an influence they can actually have on public opinion.
