Give Me Texas...And Give Them...

                              COME AND TAKE MINE!

Buckeye Firearms...The record number of firearm background checks performed by the FBI this year signals that gun sales are on the rise in Ohio, an increase that gun-rights advocates and local store owners attribute largely to political and economic fears.
Meanwhile, even though the number of concealed handgun licenses issued to Miami Valley residents fell in 2010, firearm groups said 2009 was a record year and the popularity of carrying continues to trend upward.
During the first seven months of this year, the FBI conducted 247,847 background checks for firearm purchases at gun sellers in the state, up 17.7 percent from the same period in 2010, 9.2 percent from 2009 and 42.4 percent from 2008, according to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System.
Background checks are one of the best measures of gun sales because federally licensed gun-sellers are required to perform them during a sale. Not all checks lead to purchases, but most do.------BARACK IS HUNTING FOR YOUR GUNS!!!

Now From Texas...

WSJ...Tactical Hog Control, started in 2009 by Texas ranchers Clark Osborne and Mr. Dreher, is among a handful of next-generation outfitters across the South offering a new style of hog hunting designed to appeal to hunters' inner commando. Each client on a nocturnal hunt with the two men suits up with roughly $40,000 of military-grade gear, including semiautomatic rifles like the DPMS AR-10. The men prowl bumpy pastures and farmland in off-road vehicles bristling with gun racks and infrared headlights. Video

One of hunting's most ardent advocates, 62-year-old rock musician Ted Nugent, describes the high-tech hunts as "100% fair hunting." Photos and more...

Mr. Nugent, who often hunts on his ranch near Waco, estimates that he kills 40 to 50 hogs each year without apology. In his column in Texas Fish & Game magazine's June issue, Mr. Nugent wrote of hog hunting: "This little piggy got an arrow, this little piggy got lead, this little piggy got buckshot, all the little piggies got dead."

They shoot 'em from choppers too!
The camo is just my commentary.

Lot's more good stuff on "The Dream" today...
